Disgruntled PLA DISSATISFIED FROMER PLS FIGHTERS ANNOUNCE PROTESTS Kathmandu, 27 Sept. Discharged People´s Liberation Army Nepal has launched indefinite nationwide protest programme alleging the government of ignoring their demands, RSS reports. At a news conference organized here on Thursday, Coordinator of Discharged PLA Nepal, Central Struggle Committee, Lenin Bista said that they had to resort to wage struggle as their party Unified CPN (Maoist) and the State have tuned deaf ear to the sensitivities of change agent revolutionary youths who were deemed disqualified. He informed that they would put their struggle programme in place from coming September 29 putting forth a nine-charter demand that includes making necessary arrangement for around 4,009 youths deemed disqualified to choose respectful self-retirement, specifying a provision of reservation quota of 25 per cent for the disqualified in every state agencies and providing allowances to unemployed youths Nnnn ________________________________________
