DON’T TEASE PRESIDENT SAYS KP SHARMA OLI Kathmandu, 15 Sept.: CPN-UML leader KP Sharma Oli has urged the government not to woo the President by presenting ordinances of 'unnecessary purposes' time and again, SS reports. "What will be the result if the President who is doing his responsibilities confiding into the constitutional boundary is teased again and again? Oli asked, adding what will be the consequence if the sleeping tiger is teased?" Addressing a training programme organised by the party-affiliated Progressive and Professional Legal Practitioners here on Saturday, he opined the President who is serious about the political situation of the country should not be dragged into controversy from anywhere. "The UCPN-Maoist does not want the new constitution through the CA and that’s why it dissolved the CA and is planning to capture power on different pretexts." Stating that the CPN-UML would in no way let the Maoist's dream for capturing the state power come true, he further said the party would do its best to take the Maoists back to consensus. Similarly, CPN-UML Secretary Yubraj Gyawali said the proposal of UCPN- Maoist to reinstate the Constitution Assembly is just a strategic move. CPN-UML election department chief Agni Kharel said the reinstatement of the CA will fuel the political crisis in the country. Formation of the national consensus government and going for fresh people's mandate is the best way to end the political crisis in the country, he said. nnnn
