ELECTION WON’T BE HELD SOON PREDICTS BIJUKCHHE
Kathmandu, 21 Sept.: Nepal Workers Peasants Party Chairman Narayanman Bijukchhe has ruled out any possibility of Constituent Assembly (CA) elections soon despite verbal agreement among the major political parties, RSS reports from Bhaktapur..
Inaugurating the 13th annual general assembly and fifth convention of Bhaktapur Truck Entrepreneurs Association here on Friday, Bijukchhe said that elections to the CA could not be held as the office bearers in the constitutional bodies including the Election Commission were yet to be fulfilled.
He said, "It would take a month to announce the date of CA elections. Next one month to form the new government and another one month to give a full shape to the council of ministers. So, the CA elections are not likely to be held soon."

EVEREST AND OTHER PEALS ATTRACTED 3,005 CLIMBERS
Kathmandu, 21 Sept.: A total of 3,005 foreign climbers came to Nepal in the spring of 2012 for climbing Mt. Everest and other peaks, RSS reports.
Of them, some 400 were successful in climbing Mt. Everest, said the Asia Trekking. This year, there were 208 new climbers and 165 climbers climbed from Tibet side, said Asian Trekking Chairman Ang Chhiring Sherpa.
Some 519 foreign expeditions had taken permit for climbing 33 peaks of height 5,587 m- 6,654 m managed by Nepal Mountaineering Association (NMA), and 2,225 climbed the peaks successfully, the Asian Trekking said.
Some 40 percent foreign tourists come to Nepal for entertainment in mountaineering, trekking and adventure sports.
