FIVE UML DISSIDENTS RESUME PARTY RESPONSIBILITIES Kathmandu, 27 Sept.: UML dissident leaders Prithvi Subba Gurung, Ram Chandra Jha, Kiran Gurung, Dal Bahadur Rana and Bir Bahadur Lama have resumed work in the party. They defied the official party line and opted for a single ethnic federal unit with identity in a federal structure. The leaders staged a comeback amid theats from other janajatis and Madeshi leaders to launch a new party. The dissidents resumed responsibilities amid assurances to leaders to be active in the party.
