HOUSE OF MOHAN SINGH AGAIN RAIDED
Kathmandu, 1 Sept. Police raided the house of
Mohan Singh for the second day in two days Saturday and recovered
hidden pistol, magazines and an air gun from the premises in Imadol,
Lalitpur.
Police Friday recovered more than 80 passports, animal skins statues and other priceless objects from his home.
He was immediately charged for cheating for attempting to get jobs for
clients in police.

UML TALKSWITH DISSIDENTS UNDERWAY
Kathmandu, 1 Sept. Opposition UML is holding talks Saturday with
dissidents demanding single ethnic states with identity in a federal structure opposed by the party.
Vice-chairman Ashok Rai who is taking the lead in the talks that are
underway at party headquarters
Vice-chairman Bamdev Guatam and General Secretary Ishwor Pokhrel are talking with the dissidents.
Indian Ambassador Jayant Prasad Saturday called for a federal structure
Saturday even as there’s no agreement on such a structure to replace a unitary structure.
Federalists differ on its form delaying a constitution.

UPDATE UML CHAIRMAN KHANAL RETURNS HOME
Kathmandu, 1 Sept.: UML Chairman Jhalanath Khanal returned home
Saturday evening from hospital.
As stone lodged in the urinary tract was removed through laser treatment.
