NC OPTS FOR ELECTION OF CA WHICH WILL PROCLAIM A CONSTITUTION Kathmandu, 6 Sept.: Main opposition NC General Secretary Krishna Prasad Shitaula Wednesday presented a revised political report at the central working committee (CWC) setting the party’s priorities. Fresh election is the party’s top priority and reinstatement of constituent assembly (CA) for a brief period the second to promulgate a constitution with ‘complete Understanding’. An election has been suggested sometime in April/May 2013 for a CA under NC leadership. The party concluded the CA should promulgate a constitution.. ‘Government is the main obstacle to an understanding,: Spokesman Dilendra Prasad Badu said. The main opposition will work with other parties to bring the government of Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai.to form a national government. Shitaula’s report proposed to form an NC-led government, amend the interim constitution on the basis of political consensus and hold the fresh CA polls by mid-May 2013. An amended report was presented incorporating suggestions at the extended meeting. The next date for the meeting hasn’t been fixed. Nnnn
