NEPALWINS TOSS AND IS BATTING AGAINST DENMARK IN ICC WORLD CUP CRICKET MATCH Kathmandu, 9 Sept. Nepal won the toss and is batting against Denmark in The ICC World Cup Division 4 in Kuala Lumpur Sunday. The match is Nepal’s fifth outing. It has won four previous matches collecting eight points and is certain to move to Division 3. The match against Denmark in Group 4 nnnn OPPOSITION STUDENTS ENCIRCLING NOC OFFICES SUNDAY Kathmandu, 9 Sept.: :Opposition students Sunday are gheraoeing offices of Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) Sunday for twohours. The students are on the second phase of anti-government protests opposing hike in prices of POL products. Partis supporting the students are demanding the replacement of the year-old government of Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai government and its replacement by what has been called a government of national consensus government’. Opposition have taken to the streets to bring down the government in the absence of parliament. The strength of parties can’t be gauzed in a legislature. Major parties are seeking to lead an election government to reap get maximum benefit as some parties, including RPP-Nepal have demanded aaan impartiall government toconduct free and fair polls. nnnn
