PM AGAIN CHARGES PRESIDENT FOR ACTING UNCONSTITUTIONALLY
Kathmandu, 30 Sept. Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai again hit out at President Dr. Ram Baran Yadav Saturday charging his for acting unconstitutionally.
The premier himself heads a caretaker government that normally can’t take major policy decisions and in this case in the absence of parliament dissolved by the incumbent government..
“The president has gone against accepted international practices. A decision of the cabinet should automatically endorsed. The president has not acted according to the constitution by going against tradition..
“During UML and NC rule, the country was run through ordinances. Why stop
them them now?,” he asked reporters in Baluwatar.
Bhattarai reminded Madhav Kumar Nepal presented a budget through ordinance.
“President has no power Parties are going to him, like they did when he king was around, and asking the president to act, ‘ Bhattarai charged. .
The premier said he won’t reign until an alternative government is ready to step in.
