PROBE COMMITTEE TO INVESIGATE INFECTION AT THAPATHALI HOSPITAL Kathmandu, 20 Sept. : A seven-member probe committee with representatives of the health ministry, victim’s family members and hospital has been formed to investigate the cause of infection in all three operation theaters of Paropakar Maternity Hospital. Lata Gurung died of infection and several others admitted at the Thapathali hospital were infected. The government has agreed to bear cost of treatment of regnant women who were referred to other hospitals following infection.
