REINSTATED CA CAN PROMULGATE CONSTITUTION SAYS MINISTER PUN Kathmandu, 18 Sept.: Minister for Finance Barshaman Pun said the promulgation of the Constitution is possible by reinstating the Constituent Assembly (CA) for a short term by forging consensus among the political parties, RSS reports from Baglung.. Speaking at a press meet organised by the Revolutionary Journalists' Association here today, Minister Pun said if the political parties could forge consensus on the number of states for federalizing the country, demarcation and the names for the states, the reinstatement of CA is possible. Pun said talks among the major political parties are underway to forge national consensus. Pun also said that Prime Minister would not resign from his post immediately." If he resigns in the present political situation, the country would bear further political and constitutional crisis." Pun said, the President's denial to endorse ordinances forwarded by the government hints that he would like to play an executive role instead of playing the role of a guardian. In a different note, Finance Minister Pun claimed that the government is moving forward to giving employment opportunities to some 50,000 youths in the country and said the government has been making preparations to bring a full budget within mid-November. nnnn
