SO-CALLED DEMOCRATIC PARTIES CALL MYAGDHI BAND TO THWART DISTRICTVISIT BY FORMER KING Kathmandu, 20 Sept.: Parties in Myagdhi, including NC< have called a Myagdhi to abort a visit of the district the same day by former King Gyanendra. The bandh has been called by so-called ‘democratic parties’ that forced the King, led by Girija Prasad Koirala, to take a ‘political decision’ to reinstate a parliament that had completed its tenure.
