Nnnn RAGLING, RUKUM VDCs AGREE TO SETTLE DISPUTE Kathmandu, 7 Sept.: People of Nishi Village Development Committee (VDC) in Baglung district and the Taksera VDC in Rukum district have agreed to settle the dispute over the border between the two districts, RSS reports from .Baglung. The dispute over the ownership over grazing land located on the border between the two districts had reached a boiling point resulting in a clash between the locals of the two VDCs on August 29. After years of wrangling over the ownership of the grazing land, the people of the two VDCs have finally agreed to settle the dispute through negotiation, said Pahalmansingh Thapa, the Secretary of the NISHI VDC. The villagers have agreed to clearly demarcate the border within April this year in the presence of the authorities from both districts. nnnn
