THREE ALONG WITH FORMER MAOIST COMBATANT ARRESTED WITH ARMS, AMMUNITION AND EXPLOSIVES IN JHAPA Kathmandu, 14 Sept. : Police arrested three persons including former Maoist combatant Tulsi Guragain with weapons and bullets from Birtamod of Jhapa district on Friday, RSS reports from Jhapa.. According to the District Police Office, Jhapa, the arrestees are twenty-year old Guragain, Shukraraj Limbu and Prakash Luitel of Thumbedin VDC in Taplejung district. Police seized a revolver, a pistol and a bullet from them, Superintendent of Police Tarani Prasad Lamsal said. Similarly, police seized 140 pieces of electric detonators and 30 pieces of other explosive devices from Narad Rai, 29, of Chihandanda Ward No. 8 of Khotang at Mechinagar along the East-West Highway.
