Odraha VDC ward no 1, 2, 3 and Bochahi of ward 4 and Banigama of ward 5 have been waterlogged after a dam along the Triyuga rivulet in Bochahi got dismantled at 5.00 am this morning.
Around 500 houses of 200 families in the VDC have been inundated when flood water gushed into the villages, said Deependra Prasad Yadav, a local.
Locals are not in a position to go outside home and are also facing trouble in preparing meals, he added.

Police suspect that three unidentified persons killed Tamang in his own house by using a sharp weapon.Tamang died on the way to the District Hospital, Trishuli.
It is said that the incident took place while his spouse had gone to a neighbouring house.Police suspect that the gang killed Tamang to loot the pension amount which he withdrew a few days ago. He was former British Army personnel. RSS
