TWO DOZEN INJURED IN JHAPA ROAD ACCIDENT Kathmandu, 20 Sept.: Around two dozen people were injured in a road accident in Jhapa district, RSS reports from Jhapa. Three persons among the injured are in a critical condition. The accident took place after a bus (Me 1 Kha 1272) bound to Gauradaha from Lakhanpur overturned when it tried to protect a pedestrian at Dadhichowk, Lakhanpur. As many as 21 passengers and a pedestrian were injured in the road accident, according to District Police Office, Jhapa. Critically injured 103-year-old Harimaya Pokhrel, Bal Bahadur Ghimire and Menuka Karki were referred to Neuro Hospital, Biratnagar while others have been receiving treatment in local hospitals in Jhapa. Police arrested the bus driver for necessary legal action. Nnnn MAOIST INTEGRATION IN FINAL PHASE SAYS PEACE MINISTER Kathmandu, 20 Sept.: Minister for Peace and Reconstruction, Top Bahadur Rayamajhi, has said army integration process, the important part of the peace process, has reached its final phase, RSS reports.. Addressing the programme organised by the Ministry on the occasion of the International Peace Day here on Thursday, Minister Rayamajhi said all camps will be vacated soon after the decision made by the Army Integration Special Committee. He stressed on the need of political stability for sustainable peace and added economic prosperity could be maintained by institutionalizing political system. Issue of not approving the ordinances by the President to create an environment of consensus among political parties to give political outlet to the country should be taken as positive, Rayamajhi expressed the view that the government cannot run if the President did not approve the ordinances. On the occasion, Secretary at the Ministry, Dhruba Chandra Sharma, said a programme of Rs. 500,000 has been provided to every district to forward subjects linked with peace process by forming peace committees.
