TWOCHILDREN KILLED IN DHADING ACCIDENT
Kathmandu, 26 Sept.Two children died in separate road accidents that took place near the bridge over the Belkhukhola stream at Baireni VDC-7 on
Wednesday morning, RSS reports.
Seven-year-old Mandira Magar died on the spot after a tripper ran her over. Her parents are originally from Risku, Udayapur district and have been currently working there as labourers.
Meanwhile, 11-year-old Rabin Baral and Rajan Lama who were running on the road to see the accident near the bridge in which the girl died were themselves knocked down by a bus belonging to the Agni Yatayat some 200 meters down the road. They sustained serious injuries in the bus-hit. Baral died while undergoing treatment at local hospital, police said.
Police have arrested the drivers of the tripper and the bus and also impounded the vehicles in this connection.
The locals have blocked the road to protest what they called the death of minors due to the drivers' negligence, demanding compensation to the families of the victims. RSS

Kathmandu, 26 Sept : The CPN-Maoist has imposed a ban on operation of vehicles bearing Indian registration number plates in ten districts falling under its Tamsaling State Committee, RSS reports from Chitwan..
The party has imposed the ban in the ten districts including Chitwan, Makwanpur, Dhading and Kavre falling under its Tamsaling State Committee.
Similarly, the party has banned the screening of Hindi movies and broadcasting Hindi songs in these districts, said Narayan Sharma Bipin, a district-level leader of the party.
He said the ban on operation of vehicles with Indian number plates had to be imposed as a large number of such vehicles are found transporting agriculture produce from India resulting in the domestic agricultural produce losing out the market in the country.
Similarly, he tried to defend the party´s ban on broadcasting Hindi songs arguing that the move was to promote the Nepali songs.
Following the ban order, the different broadcast media based in Chitwan have stopped playing Hindi songs from today. However, a delegation comprising representatives from the broadcast media based in the district have urged the CPN-Maoist Chitwan District committee to withdraw the ban.
