UCPN MAOIST STUDENTS VANDALIZE TWO SCHOOLS IN KANCHANPUR ASKING DONATIONS Kathmandu, 16 Sept.: A group of students associated to Unified CPN-Maoist-aligned ANNISU-R vandalised two private schools at Kanchanpur headquarters on Sunday causing loss worth tens of thousands rupees, RSS reports from Kanchanpur.. The unruly group vandalised Florida Boarding School and Prabhat Vidhya Niketan for not giving them donation. A team comprising 20-25 student cadres led by Chandra Kanta Bhatta of ANNISU-R had demonstrated hooliganism on the school premises, said the District Police Office, Kanchanpur. The irate students vandalised two vehicles, computer, furniture, laptops, two buses, telephone sets and other physical aides in Florida School while they also smashed computers, furniture and telephone sets in Prabhat Vidhya Niketan. They resorted to vandalise school physical properties after school management refused to provide them donation amount they demanded, said Florida School Principal Nisha Bhatta. School teachers have complained that the police personnel, who were only 500 meters away from both the schools, reached there after half-an-hour Nnnn MAOIST MINISTER SAYS NC, UML HAVE NO AGENDA Kathmandu, 16 Sept.: Minister for Peace Top Bahadur Rayamajhi said the Nepali Congress and the CPN-UML had no programmes what they do after forming a new government. At a programme organised by Constitutional Centre for Development of Youth in the capital on Sunday, Minister Rayamajhi, however, said his party was ready to step down once the consensus was built on the issues to give way out to current crisis. Similarly, he said the President cannot sack government nor appoint new prime minister.
