UML DISTRICT LEADER SUSPENDED FROM PARTY FOR WELCOMING FORMER KING Kathmandu, 25 Sept.: Former King Gyanendra offered puja at various temples in Pokhara Tuesday, including Bindha Bashini. He walked one km from the town to the temple to keep direct touch with people and was spontaneously received by them. The former king returns to the capital Wednesday after tour and worship at temples in six districts of Gandaki and Djaulagiri anchals. The last king said Monday in Tanahu he was worried with the country’ situation. “I am worried as much as you.I am happy with he public response. Baglung district committee member Janbar Bahadur Lamichani has been expelled from ordinary membership by UML for welcoming the former king Saturday and meeting him.
