UN TO INVEST $ 685 MILLION Kathmandu, 11 Sept.:National Planning Commission (NPC) and the Kathmandu, 11 Sept.: United Nations Country Team in Nepal Tuesday announced a United Nations Development Assistance Framework (UNDAF) that includes a package worth USD 685 million for 24 UN agencies in Nepal for five years. The document lays out a common development strategy and overall framework for the UN Country Team (UNCT) in Nepal from 2013-2017. “The strategy has been under preparation for over one year, in a process involving hundreds of local and international subject-experts and officials,” the statement read.
