UPDATE NEPAL DEFEATS MALAYSIA Kathmandu, 6 Sept.: Nepal defeated Malaysia by 10 wickets in the OCC woirld Cricket League Division 4 Friday. Nepal scored the required runs 70 runs in 12.2 overs withoutloss of a wicket. Nepal has won all its three outings. nnnn CHITWAN ACCCIDENT CLAIMS ONE LIFE, THREE OTHERS INJURED Kathmandu, 6 Sept : One person died and three others sustained injuries in a vehicular accident on the Prithvi Highway at Darechowk-4, Chitwan district on Wednesday evening, RSS reports from Ratnanagar, Chitwan,. A passenger bus going towards Pokhara from Kathmandu and another vehicle heading towards Kathmandu collided at the place resulting in the casualties. The deceased is a 60-year-old woman who was on board the bus, according to the Mugling Police. The name and address of the victim is not ascertained yet. Eighteen-year-old Srijana B.K. of Tanahun district, 22-year-old Pratima Lamichhane of Khoplang, Gorkha district and Ratan Bahadur Thapa of Syangja district sustained serious injuries in the accident. They are being treated at the Bharatpur Medical College Hospital. The driver of the vehicle that hit the bus has been arrested, police said nnnn Kathmandu, 6 Sept. Former Maoist fighters seeking voluntary retirement at seven cantonments are staging sit-in and protests, district administration and other places. They are demanding government dole before leaving the cantonments and are supported other Maoist colleagues awaiting integration in Nepal Army. The integration expected to begin Thursday has been delayed by one day, Some officials overseeing integration re expected to reach cantonments only Thursday.
