UPDATE OF SITA AIR CRASH
Kathmandu, 28 Sept.: Sita Aii’s German built Donier hit a falcon after
takeoff from Kathmandu international airport and crashed Friday morning
while returning to land.
The aircraft crashed with a bang and caught fire, eyewitnesses said.
A commission has been formed to investigate and submit a report in three months.
CPN Maoist on anti-government protests withdrew a public meet and protest demonstration following the deadly crash.

PM, PRESIDENT CONSULTATIONS
Kathmandu, 28 Sept. :Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai Friday evening asked President Dr. Ram Baran Yadav to promulgate ordinances government sent to him.
The president has been sitting on the documents sent by a government headed by a caretaker government.
Rajendra Dahal, the president’s press secretary said, the ordinances are
‘under study’.
The president asked the premier to move ahead in cooperation with other
parties.
Government argues a ceremonial president must promulgate the ordinances—an argument rejected by the head of state.
The consultation came ahead of the presidents meeting with leading parties Sunday
amid a political and constitutional crisis.

BANSBARI CLUB OUT OF NCELL FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP
Kathmandu, 28 Sept. Shankata Club defeated Bansbari Club 1-0 in the
Ncell Football Championship Friday.
Bansbari is out of the country’s richest tournament.
