UPDATE TOP US DIPLOMAT FOR SOUTH ASIA CONCLUDES NEPALVISIT
Kathmandu, 11 Sept.: U.S. Assistant Secretary for South and Central Asian Affairs Robert O. Blake concluded a two-day Nepal visit Tuesday evening.
“U.S. wants to see a stable, democratic, and prosperous Nepal in which the rights of all citizens are protected and the rule of law respected,” he told reporters before departure.
Blake also held consultations with Army Chief Gaurav Shumsher Rana, business leaders, and members of the Tibetan community as well as civil society.
