BIRD FLU OUTBREAK IN BHAKTAPUR CONFIRMED UPDATE Kathmandu, 15 Oct.: Outbreak of bird flu was confirmed Monday at Bode in Bhaktapur where a 90-dayemergencyhas been declared banning the sale of chicken meat and eggs for 90 days. Culling of birds has started with-disinfecting chicken farms. The outbreak comes one day before Ghatastahana or the begging of Dashain when meat consumption increases.
