BULLISH TREND CONTINUES Kathmandu, 18.: Share prices continued to recover on the last of weekly trading Thursday. Minutes before closing, Nepse gained 2.1 points or 0.48 percent to close at 435.26 points. Altogether 10,479shares were traded for Rs.20.662 million in 467 transactions. nnnn SENIOR JOURNALIST DEAD Kathmandu, 18: Senior journalist Mohan Bikramdhoj Joshi of Nuwakot district passed away on Wednesday evening, RSS reports from Nuwakot. . He was 86. Joshi was admitted to the Tribhuvan University (TU) Teaching Hospital, Maharajgunj, to undergo surgery of hernia but died due to failure of the surgery. He was cremated at Pashupati Aryaghat on Wednesday itself. Joshi, who had served as Nuwakot district correspondent of Rastriya Samachar Samiti (RSS) during 2034 BS to 2059 BS, was the founding coordinator of the Federation of Nepali Journalists, Nuwakot Chapter. Democratic fighter Joshi spent a three-year jail term after the political change of 1960. Joshi is survived by his wife, two sons and a daughter. FNJ Nuwakot Chapter expressed sorrow on the demise of senior journalist Joshi. Nnnn ________________________________________
