DISSATISFIED UML LEADERS QUIT PARTY
Kathmandu, 4 Oct.: Top UML Janakati and Madeshibadileaders quit the opposition party Thursday in an announcement made at Sabha Griha.
Mangal Siddhi Manandhar and Rajendra Shrestha from Kathmandu quit.
UML Vice-chairman Ashok Rai, Bijay Subba, Rajendra Shrestha, Rizwan Ansari, Mangal Siddhi Manandhar, Pasang Sherpa, Bir Bahadur Lama, Ajambar Rai, Hemraj Rai and Majhilal Tharu
announced they have quit the party.
They were among 517 workers from 61 districts to leave.
The announcement was made in the capital Thursday.
The defectors are launching a new party.
