Ram Baran Yadav asked Saturday Whether he should offer puja to the constitution or defend the basis law while saying he might act to protect if a resolution to a deadlock isn’t found by Tuesday. “Am I going to offer puja to the constitution or defend it. This is the constitution you have given. “It says the country will have a president whose main responsibility is to defend and abide by it,” the president said. .“There’s no constitutional provision to announce a partial one-third budget. :Let it come from anywhere I am concerned just like you—from the president down. Let there be a procedure for a complete budget, a consensus government , election date. ‘Let’s proclaim a constitution and institutionalize gains. Let’s put the country at the center stage and announce a new constitution and commit ourselves to the nation,” he added.. “There no law, no understanding between parties and a deadlock on a constitution. A basic law couldn’t be announced in four years. The constituent assembly failed.. parties also failed,” the ceremonial head of state said blasting major players. “The supreme court issued an order directing the proclamation of a constitution by the assembly or give an alternative is that cant be done. ‘The assembly, government and the chairman couldn’t address the spirit of the Directive or prepare an alternative without proclamation of a constitution,” the president said/. ‘The transition has been difficult for the people.” nnnn
