NEPAL HAS TO SCORE 79-RUNS FOR VICTORY AGAINST LANKA
Kathmandu, 25 Oct 25: Nepal has o score 79 runs against Sri Lanka in the ACC Women’s T20 Asia Cup Group B match in Guangzhou, China, on Thursday for a win.
Sri Lanka won the toss and elected to bat scoring 78/8 in 20 overs. Captain Rubina Chhetri took four wickets, conceding seven runs off her four overs.while Sonu Khadka picked two wickets.

PM’SASSURANCES ON DASAHIN
Kathmandu, 25 Oct.: Prime Minister Dr Baburam Bhattarai has extended hearty best wishes for peace, happiness and prosperity of all the Nepali people within the country and abroad on the occasion of Vijaya Dashami-2069 BS,RSS reports.
The Prime Minister, in a message on the occasion of Vijaya Dashami festival today [Wednesday], stated that durable peace, stability and new constitution are the common aspirations of all the Nepalis home and abroad and underlined the need of support and cooperation from all sides to meet such aspirations.
Similarly, former Prime Minister and Nepali Congress senior leader Sher Bahadur Deuba has extended best wishes to all the Nepalis home and abroad on the same occasion.
In the Vijaya Dashami greetings today, leader Deuba has wished that this festival may bring peace, prosperity and happiness among the Nepalis and inspire them to promote mutual amity and trust. "The nation is passing through hard times and may such transition end soon with the promulgation of democratic constitution", Deuba said in his message.

TWO KILLED MOTORCYCLE ACCIDENT
Kathmandu, 25 Oct.: Two persons were e been killed in a head on collision between motorcycles at Siraha, Jamdaha-2, along the East West highway on Tuesday night.
Two pillion riders have also been injured in the accident.
Abhimanyu Shrisvastav of Bihar, India and Raj Dev Yadav, 32, of Chainpur, Siraha, Dhangadi were killed.
Police said over speeding and drunk driving were cases for the accident.
