NEPAL, UAE SHARE ACC ELITE CUP Kathmandu, 12 Oct. Nepal and UAE Friday played a nail-biting tie to share the ACC Elite Cup. UAE set Nepal a target of 242 runs to lift the cup. Nepal had to score two runs in the last over. Subash Khakurel was top scorer with 55 runs. Shakti Gauchan took three wickets in 10 overs conceding 36 runs. Nepal could not lift the title despite playing in finals for the third time. Both teams qualify for the upcoming Cricket World Cup. Nepali skipper Paras Khadka was declared ´Man of the Series´.
