PROPOSAL FOR NC TO GO FOR ASSEMBLY POLLS Kathmandu, 31 Oct.: NC General Secretary Krishna Prasad Shitaula will present a formal proposal, at the party central committee Wednesday to go for elections of the constituent assembly to end a political deadlock, Spokesman Dhilendra Prasad Baud said. Nnnn DSP COMMITS SUICIDE BY HANGING Kathmandu, 31 Oct.: DSP Basanta Kumar Thapa committed suicide by hanging from a tree overnight at his home in Gokarna, Naya Patrika reports. He was deputed at Police Headquarters and had been recently transferred from Khotang/ He left a suicide note asking not search for him. Thapa committed suicide for family reasons. Nnnn TWO NEPALIS KILLED IN ACCIDENT IN INDIA Kathmandu, 31Oct.: A boulder crashed on jeep killing two Nepalis and two Indians at Dharchula, India, Tuesday. Dhanjig Singh Dhami and Ganesh Singh Dhami were killed. Two Indians were also killed. Bodies of Nepalis are being transported home after post-mortem. Nnnn SUSPENSION OF SSP RECOMMMEDED Kathmandu, 31 Oct.: The suspension of SSP Rabi Raj Shrestha was recommended by Police Headquarters to home ministry. Shrestha is suspected for colluding with Indian national Binod Kumar Soni to s,uggle foreign currency worth Rs.12.4 million out of TIA 19 October.
