RAPIST NABBED Kathmandu, 28 Oct : The Armed Police Force has caught an Indian national red-handed raping a girl from bordering Kamalpur of Itatar VDC-9 in Siraha district, RSS reports from Golbazzar, Siraha.. The arrested is Ram Pujan Mandal, 19, from Mahauliya Village of Ward 5, Bihar. He was caught red-handed gang-raping an 11-year-old girl with Saha surname of the same locality at a paddy field. However, another accused managed to evade the arrest. Mandal has been handed over to the Nepal Police for further investigation into the case, said the APF. The victim girl said that she was trapped by the accused while she was on the way to her home from a grinding mill at Itatar. Nnnn ________________________________________ PRAKASH MAN SINGH ACCUSES MAOISTS Kathmandu, 28 Oct : Nepali Congress general secretary Prakashman Singh has accused the incumbent government of exercising to lengthen its stay in power, RSS reports from Chitwan. Talking to media persons briefly at Bharatpur Airport on Sunday, leader Singh claimed the decision of UCPN (Maoist) to dissolve the Constituent Assembly was intended at remaining in power and added that political consensus would not be possible until and unless the government steps down. Leader Singh was here in course of attending a tea reception and a greetings-exchange programme organised by the party on the occasion of the Dashain and Tihar festivals.
