YET ANOTHER DEMAND FOR NC-LED GOVT. Kathmandu, 6 Oct. Yet another demand has been made by a NC leader for a a national unity government. NC General Secretary Prakash Man Singh made the demand in Biratnagar Saturday as a Maoist leader ruled out such a government arguing the president and prime minister can’t represent the same party. The leader was in fact charging the head of state for pursuing NC policies and programmes. Singh said leadership should go to NC because NC and Maoist –led governments have failed to deliver results. Nnnn BRIDGE CONSTRUCTION STARTS IN KANCHANPUR Kathmandu, 6Oct.: Construction of a suspension bridge over Mohana River in Raikabar Bichawa VDC of Kanchanpur has been started with the investment of Rs 15 million, RSS reports from Kanchanpur.. Nepalgunj based M. P Construction Company will construct the bridge with the support from the Bridge Suspension Division Office, Lalitpur. Bichawa VDC secretary Ganga Giri said that the bridge will be completed within two years. Locals of Raikabar Bichawa VDC of Kanchanpur and Geta VDC of Kailali would be benefitted as bridge is constructed. nnnn
