DEUBA SAYS BUDGET AFFECTING ELECTION UNACCEPTABLE Kathmandu, 19 Nov : Senior leader of the Nepali Congress and former Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has said that budget affecting election should not be brought, RSS reports from Kanchanpur.. At a news conference organized by the Nepal Press Union (NPU) at Mahendranagar on Monday, Deuba clarified that NC has obstructed the budget as it was to be brought by the government for influencing the election. Stressing on the need of formation of a national consensus government, he said NC should get the leadership of the government. Deuba said Prime Minister Dr. Baburam Bhattarai and UCPN (Maoist) party should pave way for the formation of a national consensus government. He commented that the tendency of slapping leaders is wrong and said that this type´s of tendency should be ended. Deuba said the Prime Minister has invited problems by declaring the date of election without forging consensus among political parties.
