DEVELOPING STORY CONFRONTATION BEWEEN, GOVERNMENT, PRESIDENT AND OPPOSITION AVOIDED Kathmandu, 12 Nov.: A direct confrontation between government, President Dr. Ram Baran Yadav and opposition over the announcement of a budget was avoided Monday afternoon with the postponement of a cabinet meeting to recommend the promulgation of government and expenditure The meeting was postponed to seek a consensus sought by the president at a meeting with Finance Minister Barsha Man Pun who reported details of his meeting to Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai.
