FORMER DEFENCE SECRETARY CONVICTED FOR CORRUTION Kathmandu, 22 Nov.: Former defense secretary Chakra Bandhu Aryal was convicted of corruption Thursday by the special court which earlier dismissed a CIAA charge on a technicality. The court sentenced him to 1 18-month jail term Along with a fine of Rs 6.6 million and confiscation of property equal to the fine., on him.
