FURTHER DETAILS OF SLAPPING INCIDENT Kathmandu, 16 Nov.: A meeting of ruling UCPN Maoist concluded after the slapping incident the slapping incident was ‘conspiratorial and pre-planned’ according to Maoist Spokesman Agni Sapkota and political aide Debendra Paudel of Prime Minister Bauram Bhattarai. The incident was planed to derail efforts to find a solution to the current deadlock. Kuwar is a member of a youth with of CPN Maoist formed after splitting from UCPN Maoist. Kuwar joined the new party following the split. He was a former Maoist combatant and member of a martyr family. A security meeting is being held at the home ministry after the incident.
