The deceased is Ambar Bahadur Thapa, 68, of Madi Gardi, RSS reports from Chitwan. . Police said that Thapa was attacked by the elephant from the Chitwan National Park at his doorstep while he was coming out of his home at 11 pm. The folks of Madi area are hard hit for years as the elephants, rhinos and other wild animals from the national park are destroying the crops almost every year.
