LOAD-SHEDDING INCREASED TO 56 HOUS A WEEK Kathmandu, 27 Nov.: Load-shedding will be increased to eight hours a day or 56 hours a week from Wednesday, Nepal Electricity (NEA) announced. Peak dry season, ;lasts from mid-November for four months hen power distroibution is curtailed. NEA plan to import 80MW thermal plants to solve problem of power shortage won’t work as they will take at last four months to import and install. Plan to shut down government offices for five days instead of five was also considered impractical. India which supplies some power is also facing acute shortage. Nnnn
