PRACHANDA, PRESIDENT MEET Kathmandu, 4 Nov.: Maoist Chairman Prachanda held hour-long consultations with President Dr. Ram Baran Yadav Sunday after a three-day presidential deadline ended to attempt another breakthrough at ending a deadlock. The meeting was held amid charges by a Maoists against the ceremonial head of state he planned toppling government with foreign help and involvement of security agencies. No reaction has come from Shital Niwas. They discussed political and constitutional hurdles, a press statement of from the president’s office said.
