Nepal Telecom (NT) earned a net income of Rs 3,630,939,418 bet profit in Q1 of the current fiscal year ending 16 Oct. NT earned a Rs.3,63,529,189 net profit after taxes in the corresponding period the previous year. Kumari Bank Ltd recorded a net profit of Rs.19.965 in Q1 of the fiscal year 2012/13. Nnnn HAILSTONE DAMAGES CROPS IN GORKHA Kathmandu, 13 Nov.: Paddy and vegetable worth nearly 20 million rupees have been destroyed at Hansapur VDC in Gorkha district due to hailstones occurred last night [Monday], RSS reports from Gorkha.. Area Police Office, Bhachchek, said that crops and vegetables worth Rs 20 million were destroyed at ward no. 1 and 2 of Hansapur, the northern VDC in Gorkha. Hansapur is the pocket-area for paddy production in the district. Similarly, Ilampokhari, Dudhpokhari and other adjoining VDCs in Lamjung district were also affected due to the hailstones. nnnn FBI says agents at the home of Petraeus lover FBI AGENTS AT HOME OF WOMAN BEHIND PETRAEUS; NOT KNOWN WHAT THEY WERE DOING Kathmandu, 13 Nov FBI agents are at the North Carolina home of the woman whose affair with retired Gen. David Petraeus led to his resignation as CIA director, AP reports from Chaarlotte, North Carolina, USA.. A spokeswoman for the FBI says that agents went to Paula Broadwell´s home in Charlotte on Monday night. FBI spokeswoman Shelley Lynch declined to say what the agents were doing there. FBI agents appeared at Broadwell´s home carrying the kinds of cardboard boxes often used for evidence gathering during a search. They walked through the open garage of Broadwell´s house and knocked at a side door before entering the home. One person was taking photographs of the house and its garage as members of the news media watched. Petraeus resigned his CIA post last week after acknowledging an extramarital affair. Nnnn
