UML CHIEF PREDICTS ELECTION IMPOSSIBLE EARLY 2013
Kathmandu, 22 Nov.: CPN-UML Chairman Jhala Nath Khanal ruled out the possibility of fresh Constituent Assembly election s within May, 2013.
Speaking at a programme organised by the UML School Department in the Capital on Thursday, he claimed that the government has declared election s unilaterally and in an irresponsible manner.
Khanal questioned on constitutional and legal provisions for conducting election s. No election s can be held without basis, he added. He warned of ending the consensus politics with the UCPN (Maoist) if Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai continued his arrogance and remained further in power.
Chief of the Department, Beduram Bhusal, said the classes were held preparing curriculum to strengthen the party from ideological, theoretical and political point of view.
As many as 32 persons have been participating in the 10- day long training including party's 14 zonal committees, Kathmandu Valley Committee, and foreign-based committees in the senior level class.
