BIG THREE MEET Kathmandu, 3 Dec.; A meeting of leaders of the Big Three-Maoists, NC and UML—began Monday evening to discuss issues, including formation of a consensus government and selecting a consensus candidate to lead it. Talks are being conducted amid stiffening of attitude of both sides. Time is again running out for parties to met the second presidential deadline to suggest a consensus government within the week. The deadline is likely to be missed. Five-party Madesh morcha in government is not included in the talks. MORE UPDATE NEPAL. INDIA BORDEER TALKS BEGIN Kathmandu, 3 Dec. Nepal and India began border talks in New Delhi covering a wide range of issues including cross-border and cooperation in curbing other criminal activities across the open 1,700 km open border. Border talks resumed after nine months.
