MAOIST CONVENE MEETING FRIDAY to sort out differencs Kathmandu, 20 Dec.: Reasoning that party leaders expressed different views about formation of national consensus government, the ruling UCPN-Maoist has called an extended meeting of the central office for Friday morning. According to the party spokesperson Agni Prasad Sapkota, the members of the dissolved standing committees, politburo members and coordinators of state committees and central convention coordination committee, who are available in the capital city, have been invited to the meeting. The UCPN-Maoist has been stressing the formation of a national consensus government under incumbent Prime Minister Dr Baburam Bhattarai. The meeting is learnt to have been called to build a uniform voice of the party in wake of news reports about rising differences between party Chairman Pushpa Kamala Dahal and Prime Minister Bhattarai. Spokesperson Sapkota added that the meeting would also discuss future policy and coming general convention in addition to the formation of the national consensus government. nnnn
