OLI RAPS RULING COALITION
Kathmandu, 12 Dec,:CPN-UML leader KP Sharma Oli has urged the ruling political parties not to dream extremism of prolonging government.
Inaugurating the 8th convention of Nepal Telecom Employees' Association in the capital on Wednesday, leader Oli said people would not tolerate any kind of extremism in the 21st century.
"One may continue power becoming prime minister despite dishonest politics, but it would not give peace, and prosperity but jeopardize democracy and nationality," he said indicating the ruling UCPN-Maoist.
He rapped the ruling coalition for its craving to retain power instead of devoting to enhancing people's life.
Association Chairman Ashok Kumar Karna said the Telecom was in need of economic and technical changes. For this the association has presented proposal of reform programme before the management, he added.
The convention to last for three days is attended by some 2,500 representatives. It would elect new leadership

YOUTH WHO SLAPPED PRACHANDA RECEIVES RS154,000 DONATION
Kathmandu, 12 Dec.: Padam Kunwar, the youth who slapped Maoist Chief Prachnda on the cheek 26 days in the capital, talked with journalists Wednesday.
He revealed Rs 154,000, was collected in donations after district court this week jailed him for failure to pay a Rs.28,000 for his release/
Kunwar said the money would be spend for social service.
The donations weren’t spent to get out of jail as Prachanda had paid the amount without consultation.
