PEOPLE UNITED FOR HINDU STATE SAYS KAMAL THAPA Kathmandu, 24 Dec.: Chairman of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP)-Nepal, Kamal Thapa, has claimed that all people are united in making the country as a Hindu nation, RSS reports from Butwal.. Thapa claimed this while talking to media persons at Butwal on Monday. Thapa also took part in the chariot procession started by the party as a part of a campaign to make the country: a Hindu nation. He blamed that western countries have invested tens of millions of rupees to make Nepal a secular country, adding to the mass of people seen on the streets supporting this campaign. He also said that making the country a Hindu nation is a warning to western countries. The RPP-Nepal Chairman alleged that political parties were trying to erase the country's identity as a Hindu nation, and added it would not be acceptable. Thapa said that the campaign launched by the party was for nationality and protecting the identity of the country. The chariot procession was started from Janakpur on December 17, and it will conclude on December 26 after reaching Kathmandu. Some 2,000 people have participated in the chariot procession.
