Kathmandu, 17 Dec.:: Senior leader of CPN-UML Madhav Kumar Nepal held discussions with Prime Minister Dr Baburam Bhattarai this evening to end the latest political deadlock, RSS reports..
The deadline given by the President to the political parties to pick a consensus prime minister expired Monday without yielding any result.
The two leaders held discussions at the UML leader Nepal's residence and discussed ways to end the political deadlock and formation of the national unity government.
After the meeting, the UML leader said that he was not hopeful of a consensus through the present efforts for a national consensus.
"I told the prime minister not to talk in double standards. I have suggested him to come up with a single stance in the party," leader Nepal told journalists after the meeting.

NORTH KOREAN PHOTO EXHIBITION INAUGRATED BY DPM SHRESTHA
Kathmandu, 17 Dec.: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Narayan Kaji Shrestha has inaugurated a documentary and photo exhibition organised in the capital on Monday, RSS reports.
The exhibition is organised in recognition to the contribution of the late Kim Jong Il of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea. Also, it is organized to strengthen the cultural relations between the two countries.
On the occasion, DPM Shrestha lauded the contribution of DPRK in various sectors of Nepal.
He said Nepal wants to see peaceful unity between the two Koreas.
The four-day exhibition has displayed the paintings and handicraft items prepared by the Korean people.
DPRK Ambassador to Nepal, Kim Yong Sul, said the programme would help identify the cultural activities of both countries and strengthen the two-country relations.
