Nnnn DISCUSSIONS ON NEPAL IN NEW DELHI Kathmandu, 14 Dec,: Amid failure of major political players to find an outlet to a prolonged deadlock that is delaying a smooth transition to a republic, a two-day discussion got underway Friday in New Delhi on the prevailing situation in Nepal. Such discussions have often been held away from home –Europe or India- at crucial junctures—with the participation of major players, especially leaders of political parties who are decision makers. NC President Sushil Koirala, who was invited, didn’t attend. But NC leader Shekhar Koirala, Dr.Prakash Chandra Lohini , vice-chairman of Rashtriya Janashakti Party other party leaders and other players, including journalists, have been invited by front organizations of the government of India to present their views in front on Indian counterparts.. Nepalis have no hesitation on discussing domestic issues with foreigners on al expense paid trips when the topics should e discussed at home.
