SC INTERVENES TO STOP DIGAMBAR FROM ASSUMING OFFICE Kathmandu, 31 Dec.: The Supreme Court has issued an interim order in the name of the government, asking it not to allow Digambar Jha to act as Chief of Nepal Telecommunications Authority, RSS reports.. A division bench of Justices duo Kalyan Shresth and Sushila Karki issued the order on Monday in the name of the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, Ministry of Information and Communications and Nepal Telecommunications Authority asking not to enforce the appointment of Jha as Chief. The SC has reasoned in the order that qualification and experience needed to the post was not ensured which could create legitimacy crisis in the government's decision.
