THIRD PRESIDENTIAL DEADLINE TO SELECT PM BABURAM BHATTARAI SUCCESSOR WILL BE MISSEDWEDNESDAY Kathmandu, 12 Dec.: The third presidential deadline in 20 days to appoint a consensus prime minister and assemble a consensus government ends Wednesday without choosing a successor of incumbent Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai government. President Dr. Ram Baraan Yadav is likely to extend the deadline again. MORE UML CENTRAL COMMITTEE MEET DISCUSSES KHANAL REPORTMEET Kathmandu, 12 Dec.: UML central committee meet continues for third consecutive day Wednesday with discussions centered around a political paper presented by Chairman Jhalanath Khanal. The opposition has decided to support the candidature of NC to succeed Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai as head of a consensus government to hold elections which is unlikely to be held in Aril/may despite commitment of major parties. Khanal has also recommended bringing down the toppling of the Bhattarai government through street protests.
