Main opposition central committee Wednesday unanimously elected President Sushil Koirala its candidate for a consensus candidate to succeed incumbent Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai and head an election government to conduct constituent assembly elections sometime in April/May. Maoists set conditions for supporting Koriala. ‘We should lead a government for elections, “ said Dilendra Prasad Badu after the central committee meet. SenioR leader Sher Bahadur Deuba supported Koirala’s candidature and Vice-president Ram Chandra Paudel support it.
