MOTHER OF THREE COMMITE SUICIDE Kathmandu, 23 Jan.: A women who delivered a baby a month ago has burned herself to death after dousing herself in kerosene on Tuesday, Hari Sharma reports from Parasi in the Himalayan Times.. After the self immolation of Kisun Naue, 26, her three children, all of whom are below two and half years, including the month old infant have been left to fend for themselves. “Naue set herself on fire when the remaining family members went to bed after dinner,” Phul Kumari, mother-in-law of Naue informed. Seriously injured Naue was rushed to Palpa based Mission Hospital, where she breathed her last, according to the police. Police is yet to crack the mystery behind her suicide. Local people have assumed that Naue, who has three daughters, committed suicide fearing harassment by her family members for her failure to give birth to a boy even in her third attempt. nnnn
